Semester 1 presentation panels

My project for the semester was a site on a river bank flanked by two bridges. The site (Tasmania, Launceston, North Esk River bank and Lindsay St) sits between the city and the hometowns. From this theory, i use the concept of a transitional changing project, where the site plays an important role for recognition. People going to work or returning home after work crosses the site.

anyway i am not giving a presentation here lah. haha. here are my panels.

Snowboarding, the new kick

Ben Lomond, a Tasmania ski resort up in the mountains. I went up with a group of friends. the transport cost me $25(bus-2way) and rental of the gear and snowboard + lesson, another $100! the guys there said taking the lesson will make my day a more enjoyable one. and they were right, snowboarding is tough!
lucky for the 45min lesson, i am able to at least maneuver around. after another hour on my own, i am really getting the hang of it! and so lovin it! haha! powder in my face, butt smack like a hundred times!! SNOWBOARDING really is the new rush for me now! i can't wait to do it again but sadly i am from the tropics sunny Singapore! where got snow?!? snowcity in jurong?? hahaha!!

i am getting serious about this..

ok, 2 hours ago i opened my dearie's blog as usual and bam! this time is different! different as in different from the usual. now in her links i see her friend's blog and her colleagues' blog and there is damn! my blog!! oh my goodness! that is terrible! i feel ashamed of myself. people have a blog for a reason and me have a blog which i dont even care about. is it me or is it men? ok dont blame others, im just l a z y. so i tell myself here, lets start writing from today! (ok only when im free lahh, architecture wont allow me to do so anyway..) what shall i write about? cars? ha. ha. ha. people wont bother about your cars derrick!! aston martins? lamborghinis? who cares?! ok so here i am, telling myself, lets be serious about writing.. allow myself to entertain the world!! or at least, just you. :)

This is one of the many wagons i see in the streets here. They come in all varieties. Different colors, kits, rims, and trunks and no trunks, dogs and no dogs. You'll see more in upcoming posts. Singapore should have more of these cause i think its a really sexy practical machine.

This is a 1989 Mitsubishi Magna 2.6l Manual with no sports rims, leather seats, power windows, and no speakers. All these for under $1000, and i am lovin it, cause it takes me places.
Here it took me up to Mount Wellington.
